For People New to Body Brave

Body Brave follows a stepped-care approach which means that our services go from being more self-directed to involving more clinical intervention.

Follow the steps below to get started at Body Brave!

Step 1.

Access Virtual Information, Resources, and Support Services
(Open to anyone 14+ in Canada)

The first step to getting started at Body Brave is to sign up for our privacy protected online platform. Here you can access screening tools, information and resources as well award-winning peer support.

This is an essential first step to get you familiar with the treatment and support options available to you- through Body Brave and outside of Body Brave.

Visit our registration page here and fill out the registration form to get started.

Step 2.

Book an Intake Call
(Ontario residents, 17+ only)

Once you've setup an account online and gone through the information and resources in step 1, you can book a phone appointment to speak with a Body Brave team member. We'll get to know your situation and offer suggestions on next steps, including Body Brave's group treatment options.

Not looking for more support right now?

Some people decide that step 1 is enough and they do not book an appointment with Body Brave. That's okay too! You decide what level of support you are comfortable with.

Step 3.

Attend a virtual treatment group at Body Brave
(Ontario residents, 17+ only)

If you're an Ontario resident who is 17+, you are eligible to attend a Body Brave treatment group. During your appointment with a Body Brave team member (see step 2), we'll give you all the details on how to get started.
